After departing from their "Nu-Metal" roots. Linkin Park did something really great in this album, Mature.
The change from Meteora (2003) to this is drastic. This album is a political statement by the band directing their point of view on politicians and chaos in the world with songs such as; "The Little Things give you away", "No More Sorrow", and "Hands Held High".
A very polarizing to the hardcore early fans. But, even though this was a whole different direction. Their roots, they did not forget.
They used words perfectly what to describe what they want to talk about. From Angst in Hybrid Theory (2000), to understand the world outside of their own little bubble. They did it perfectly.
A great listening experience. My favorite tracks are; "The little things give you away", "What I've Done", "Bleed it Out", "Shadow of the Day", and "Given up".
