Turning long boring pauses into cinematic shots dosnt save that their long and boring pauses. Im on episode 8 ive tried so hard to give this show a chance but man i dont even know whats going on half the time. So much weirdly disguised pedophelia. This show had a lot of potential but they rlly blew it

I’ve never read the book which seems to be the reason people don’t like this movie because it “dosnt capture the raw emotion of the book” but honestly this movie spoke to me. I felt so connected to the characters and their relationships especially Boris and Theo the aesthetic and play out of it all I honestly thought it was so moving and magical and unpopular opinion but this has to be one of my favourite movies of all time
