Did not nearly do the book enough justice.

If my 5 year old son(who loves cars and dinasours) can watch this movie and not care about or question why the son's love interest is a boy that says a lot about the maturity of the adults that are giving this movie 1 star ratings. If your kids are questioning this then you need to evaluate your parenting. My son was more interested in the animation and funny moments and also took away from the movie that we need to take care of our planet, which is the whole point, not to get fixated in small things like who a teenager has a crush on.

Very touching and makes you appreciate the little things.
