Rise while it hits the fan notes really well but feels like it should of been the second movie. Instead they jammed it all into one movie. Trying to wrap all 40+ years into a 2 1/2 hours. Sceens that needed to breath were rushed and then vaguely explained. But JJ did touch every corner of SW. There were characters that made appearances from other mediums than the films. One from the novels is very prominent in the movie. Overall the movie will hit the right moments for some but leaving others feeling like it wasn't wrapped up.
