Absolutely loved this series and totally disappointed that Series 3 is a no go
Viewers have to bear in mind, this is how it was back then, poverty and battling every which way. It's not a feel good series but it is truthful. I was born in the 1940's and life was only coming into a new age after WW2, but I do remember the world as it truly was.
I believe that the leading lady should have been paid more than her stage husband (can't believe this is still happening) she appeared much more and had the pivoting role. Wake up BBC.
