Overall disappointing. First episode not good, second much better but pretty much downhill from then onwards. I loved the baffling holiday home story. I must admit the things that annoy Alan annoy me and I quite liked some of his put downs. I don’t care for his smug narcissistic co-presenter or Ruth who spitefully contradicts him. Maybe that’s 360 degree scripting because is there humour at one level being APs discomfort and lack of understanding of the younger colleagues, and their barbs at him - but is there also a dig at those people who think they are all so woke and right on, but just seem up themselves? Am I Alan Partridge?
