This show is satisfying in the extreme. I have watched the first season twice and wish there were more seasons. The actors are good no matter how small their roles may be. The story is well-told with humane values and believable incidents. I have seen Patrick Ridremont (sorry; cannot remember how to spell his last name) as the hero of Unit 42 and now as a more complicated guy with a heart of gold. I hope to find him in other shows. And the other actors, too, would be great to find in more films of such high quality. The fact that the wolf was supernatural did not jar me at all. It earned its mythical moment.

It is a tragedy so well written and performed that it cleanses the mind and the heart.

I would enjoy it. Hey, it has Craig Ferguson. I miss him and his skeleton on late night.

I watch it again and again. The characters are as real as it gets in comedy of manners, and that is real enough and tender enough to make it not at all corny that the butler is called Mr. Butler.

It is sort of silly, but watching Nighy, Gambon, Jones, etc. is relaxing and worth just smiling through. Such faces and such style they had! Such an appreciation of being old buds in British cinema. And Zeta-Jones is womanhood at its snazziest.

it is a good film that wanders along through an old lady's last interesting encounter. Everyone is just fine and dandy, and racial prejudice takes it on a few double chins. That such people as Victoria and Abdul can be found proves the old Shakespearean sentiment that this is such a world that has such people in it. I laughed. I cried. I mostly smiled

It was perfect the first time. And the second time. I will wait for the third time till I need its perfection again.

The acting was real. Maybe heroism can be caused by horrific necessity. What I felt was that the sisters had been raised with love and tolerance but also with the quiet strength of their father and the powerful patience shown by their mother during her last illness.There was grace in the ending. One critic mentioned that it was too noisy. I kind of agree. It needed no bangs and thunder. Just crackling flames and the faces of two of the best actors I have ever seen in a film that kept me with it because it was always real.

It is naive and sweet and worth watching.

It held my interest, although it is certainly not anything more than the gradual round of deaths usually found in these games, and the stereotypes are just that.. No one is anything more than what he or she starts out to be. The decision of the last man standing not to kill the riflewoman makes sense, but her suicide does not because it is too pat. However, I found the acting to be far above the usual level in these games. Everyone in the cast performed well, and the setting, acting, and direction deserved kudos.
