Did I just waste nearly six hours of my life? YES. An utterly unbelievable storyline which gets more and more incredible, no, correction stupid as the show goes on. It becomes a farce in the end with so many twists and turns that it borders on ridiculous. Who do we trust? MI5? Or maybe MI6? Or maybe the CIA? This is a masterclass in spy pantomime. I honestly believe that anyone working for MI5 or MI6 would be having big belly laughs if they watch Redeye. Before we delve into the ludicrous plot let me point out that this six part spy/drama series is utterly unbelievable, badly scripted, poorly written and quite dull as most of it is set on two night plane journies from Beijing to London and back. The plot involves five English doctors returning on a plane to London from a medical conference in Beijing. On arrival in London one is arrested on suspicion of murder and is sent immediately back to China. Our suspect Matt is accompanied by DC Hana Li to Beijing. During his interview at the airport he says he was framed. No one believes him. He was stabbed in a night club and get this, no one attnds to his wound at the mysterious London airport. No lawyers, no legal rights, just whipped back onto the next flight to Beijing, sounds like rubbish to me. His four medical colleagues are all "advised" to return too as they can testify in a forthcoming trial against their colleague by a grey suited civil servant who doesn't even qualify himself. 1. Why would they want to return back immediately? 2. Don't they have jobs/families to go to? 3. Why testify against their friend and colleague?. Three accept and get back onto a return flight with a promise of compensation. Too silly for words and utterly vague. One says no and is duly murdered in an airport car park with no one around! Not been to Gatwick of late. The three others all die in mysterious ways. One body disappears mid-flight and no one can find the victim! . A poor little dog dies after victim n.1. Then one body disappears mid-flight and no one can find the victim! Eventually all the doctors die except Matt. Farcical! Four suspicious deaths on a plane and the only excuse for not cutting short is "we're currently flying over Russian airspace". Then it enters into the surreal. Men with hoodies in the hold, a corrupt stewardess, a Captain who seems hell bent on getting to Beijing and a carry on bag full of cash and false passports in the name of Hana Li. It gets worse, with shenanigans going on between MI5 and MI6 and eventually the CIA are the baddies. It's cringe worthy stuff which really isn't worth the time of day nor evening. Richard Armitage who plays Matt is rather two dimensional and never convinces, Jing Lusi is the only decent actor in the series, Lesley Sharp is annoying and unconvincing. An utter waste of my time. You have been advised.

Dull. Do not expect an epic entertaining journey like Gladiator. Napoleon is a dull, dreary, violent film almost like an inaccurate history lesson told by a grey, sterile uninterested teacher. The cinematography is often brilliant, but this alone cannot hold the film together. It's disjointed, with too many characters being dropped in and out of the film without any explanation nor guidance as to who they are. Perhaps the four and a half hour 'directors cut' provides a better explanation, but I really couldn't imagine sitting through an even longer version of this film. At one point I felt like walking out and I rarely do that! It's simply not entertaining, it tells a story but without passion nor gusto, it drags on until the next battle scene and then it's back to a Palace or government building or a quick shag between Bonaparte and Josephine. Joachim Phoenix is an excellent actor, but there was something about him that just didn't fit the part. If any of you are old enough to remember Rod Steiger in the 1970 film 'Waterloo' then you'll know what I'm talking about. Josephine is played by Vanessa Kirby (Princess Margaret in The Crown) and played well, but Josephine was six years older than Napoleon and Vanessa Kirby is many years (14) younger than Joachim Phoenix. Disappointing film

Dark and brutal. Had me interested but not overly. Some good acting. Storyline good. All in all an average crime film with some good actors.

Didn't do it for me. I cannot say I didn't like it, but it was more of a Rom-com than a proper James bond movie. With an unclear plot, unconvincing Rami Malek and everyone looking a bit bored, old and jaded. Lashana Lynch seems like a wrong choice as a successor. She has very little charisma and everything she does seems forced and fake. Ana de Armas as Paloma is a breath of fresh air and is very funny. With many twists and turn, I think the film turns itself inside out.

Episode 1: Excellent. In true Hammer House of Horror style, with a couple of good modern twists. Bray Studios were involved in the production and filming. 10/10 Episode 2: Interesting, but then it became tedious. 6/10 Episode 3: Utter tripe. A mish-mash of non-sense ideas placed into the modern era of today. The whole thing becomes a comedic potpourri of ideas and in truth is absolutely diabolical (excuse pun). 1/10 Overall very good acting from both leading artists: Dolly Wells and Claes Bang. Will NOT go down in history books as a classic Dracula. Such a shame as it had great promise after episode 1.

An intensely dislikable film. The supposed horror scenes towards the end are extremely tedious and predictable. The acting sometimes wooden and certainly unconvincing. The film has the premise of being potentially very interesting and spine chilling but it descends into stupidity. Obviously there is a twist which in truth should and could have been avoided. It is unlikely this film will ever make it into the top 20 horror movies hall of fame.

The mystery house exists, Sarah Winchester was filled with grief and remorse and the premise of the film is good as is the acting. There are so many suspense and horror genres movies today that one can lose count and become oblivious to all of them. This is a story which has a different approach to the spiritual world. Whilst it may not be everyone's cup of tea, I found it interesting and well put together.

A really cool sci-fi film which kept me up until 2.30am. Watched it on E4 (TV channel) in segments then thought this is interesting so I watched it without breaks on Netflix again. Stick with it, pay close attention to basically every sentence even when Freedman mumbles. A clever concept and story line. Different, under-rated and superb visuals. "ALIENS" could be like this. Why not? Interested? Then watch it.

Beautifully shot, rather slow, a bit of a disappointment. Not too sure this film is representative of the real Che Guevara who was a ruthless killer. He was known for executing people on the spot who he either suspected of being a traitor, gay or simply people who disagreed with him. I've greatly improved my Spanish since watching it as 90% is subtitled and in Spanish. Is it worth watching? Yes. Once.
