Great visuals and some of the gameplay; they're the good bits.
Unfortunately the majority of the rest is irksome and tedious.
The never-ending respawning of baddies, often within seconds of you killing them all, and their uncanny ability to detect you, is both unrealistic and irritating, and the constant battle with malaria is an additional pain.
Everyone you meet is out to kill you except for the crooks you accept mission from, and the arms dealers.
Some of the diamond cases are inaccessible, weapons degrade exceptionally quickly and often jam, and vehicles you drive are always slower than the enemy vehicles and seem to have zero inertia (even if you are driving a heavy truck it has little effect when crashing into a small car), but worse, is the inability to determine the outcome of the game; basically you're going to die whatever, making the whole thing pointless.
A pity really because most others in the series are exceptionally good..
