Frances McDormand understands her character Fern and the nomad lifestyle of those who by no fault of their own have fallen into a community of survival on the road in the United States. She has an authentic ability so convincing to tune into the stories told by the real nomads that they did know she was acting! To see a story of Americans living in an age of self determination and survival of what was supposed to be the American dream and to watch those who are called to the road; enjoy great acting, beautiful cinematography and sound so real that you are right there experiencing this life yourself. Take in Nomadland.
