I switched years ago from Today, so I could get strong news reporting in the morning. Your replacement of Anthony Mason, a serious reporter with depths of experience, for a former football player leaves me perplexed. If you are hoping for a younger audience, I think you will be disappointed. The 20 to 40 year olds get their news online, most don’t subscribe to network TV. Watching today and seeing the new “look” of T’s under jackets for the men first made me laugh then sad for your desperate push to seem current. I’ll give your new line up a week. After that, I might be following my children, dumping networks, and just get my news from streaming and feeds.
