Before I saw the movie, I've heard mix reviews- mostly how slow it was and a few how it is different. My take on the movie; I freakin love it! Of all the DC movies before this one, Joker is written as a disruptive, unleashed villian. Those movies give the assumption of the character by continuing him as the antagonist in the films. With the recent film, you will see the becoming of the Joker thanks to J.P's raw performance. Arthur's breaking point is the introduction to the Joker. "You're not listening to me....all I have are negative thoughts" for those who gave it bad reviews, you were only wanting to hear the Joker but listening was much better to understand the dedication of the film.
