I'm not sure if the negative reviews have seen the same film as I just did .. I thought it was superb. Zoe Kravitz, new to me, was absolutely superb (I actually thought she was a dead ringer for Natalie Portman) as the agraphobic, OCD, KIMI company employee, Angela Childs. It's a modern day Rear Window, is the best way to describe it. There are nice nods throughout, to Hitchcock and Hermann. One scene where Angela (Kravitz) goes out for the first time in a long time, the camera pacing and fro-ing conveys Angela's panic and anxiety as she hugs the walls (look out for the wall that looks like credits straight out of a Bernard Hernann contribution). The film captures a lot of the feelings we all felt during the pandemic, isolation, fear, paranoia, suspicion etc and does so with a great mixed dose of pulp style fiction, black comedy and suspense. In a nutshell, watch it and enjoy the ride, and remember........... Alexa's always listening. 😏 And a final word to these negative reviews, is it really right to include so many spoilers and plot details? No. That breaks the unwritten rule of film reviews. KIMI, please delete them.
