Better than "OK", but not really "Great" either. Visually, this is the best looking movie I have seen in a LONG time. The plot ideas were great, but execution fell short. The movie started off fresh and engaging, but as it went on longer and longer it started to feel like a slog. It sounds weird, but both of my friends described it the same way when we were walking out of the theater. The characters weren't engaging, and the plot was cheesy. At least the action, sets, and visuals were jaw-droppingly good. Worth watching once.

Great visuals, bad acting, terrible pacing. This show is OK if you skip ahead 30 seconds every time they start a discussion. Seriously, the writing is atrocious. People stand around looking at each other for seconds before opening their mouths. They act like every little line of dialogue will have a massive impact, even when it is so obvious. I don't know how much of that is the writer / director's fault or the Actor's fault. It is a slow show, but not in a good way like Andor. Action scenes are mediocre. Some finish way too fast, some take way too long (attaching a tracking device doesn't require 5 minutes of screen time). Most of Ahsoka's fights are interesting, but some of the other ones look like two toddlers swinging lightsabers at each other. Sabine's character is the worst. In rebels, she was an interesting mandalorian who was part artist, part mercenary, and familiar with lightsaber combat. Now, she acts like an incompetent moody teenager, even though she is 30 years old. Even though I really want to like this show, I just can't like it. It feels very similar to Obi-Wan and Boba Fett.

Wow. This movie gave me chills on more than one occasion. It looks beautiful, the story is great, and the villains are legitimately the best I have seen in years. Every scene the wolf was in made me legitimately terrified. He is only on screen for 7 minutes, but he is the one character from this movie I will never forget. Every second he is on screen feels like the Rouge One hallway scene. It is a kids movie about a side character from a 20 year old movie. It does not deserve to be this good. To me, it ranks up with Maverick and Avatar for best movie of the year.

Kang is great, but one character cannot save a terrible movie. Kang made a lot of mistakes in this movie that made him seem... weak. They made Kang seem like the ultimate villain. Then, he immediately lost to Ant Boy and his Merry Posse. Thanos beat the all of the Avengers at the same time, and Kang can't even beat the weakest one? Also, Kang's costume made him look like a floating head on a CGI body. Other than Kang being pretty cool, everything about this movie was terrible. Any scene with MODOK in it was cringe. He should have been a 1 scene character, not a main villain. Hope's mom pulls the ultimate Holdo maneuver by not telling anyone what is going on for 30 years. Then she refuses to tell them the plan when they are stuck in the quantum realm. Overall poor execution with an interesting villain.

UPDATED: After episode 10, I think I can crown this show as the best TV show to ever come out of Disney or Star Wars. Trust me, it is far better than the Mandalorian. The slow build in the opening episodes continues through the show. Each episode builds on the previous, slowly working its way to what I assume will be a finale on the scale of Endgame. It is not afraid to take time building suspense, and the payoff is always worth it. It has a healthy mix of action, tense dialogue, and twists. Each character feels real. This is the show Star Wars fans have waited for. Original Review (after 3 episodes): Not the greatest show, but it is "good". I think people think it is amazing because of all the terrible marvel and star wars shows recently. Compared to she-hulk, Mrs marvel, and Boba Fett, this show is a masterpiece. Compared to competent TV shows, it is middle-of-the-road (at least so far). It is slow, but that is because it is laying the foundation for all-new characters. There are more efficient ways for them to cover the characters, but what they did got the job done. Just like most things in this show, not the best, but acceptable and entertaining.
