Just viewed the Lion King a couple of days ago with my family. I was marbled how quickly I forgot it was real animals...it was impressive. That said, I was disappointed to observe that sad subliminal message that yellow/gold was was portrayed as powerful and good/kind as opposed to brown/black was associated with powerlessness and evil. For example isn't Scar the kings brother? Why is he brown/black? There are so many other colors that can be used. Please keep those things in mind...it does have an impact.
