The role of Chetan (writer) , was acted by Rajesh Khanna with so much depth, that one can't forget him easily. His sorrowful eyes are above description. Other characters - Sunita (Sharmila Tagore), Sunita's son, Chetan's friend (played by prem chopra), Sunita 's mother-in-law are remarkable. The film carries a strong message. This kind of film is very rare in this age.
