I wasn’t sure at first… I realized immediately the pig was his companion, best friend and family. The journey he took to (which others may say differently) is kinder to losing a child or wife. That’s the only part I wish was explained a little better. Was it his wife or child he lost? This movie held my interest and moved my heart. When we feel we have nothing a fur baby (animal) is what many humans turn to. Pain is pain. Loss is loss. I watch movies for entertainment, that’s what an actors job is … to make us connect with a character or the story line. To make us believe for a minute or two in hope. These actors did their job.
