I love loose women but I wanted to get in touch as I have an idea for a great discussion.
This women issue being safe: We were born in the 50's but we did not want the burn bras etc. I just feel starting at Grass roots levels is not just for the parents but can be made fun in school. When small primary children are lining up, make sure the boys know that they stand on the outside of the girls. Teach them to pretend in cars to open the door. Teach all children to stand up when a lady teacher walks into the room or even when all teachers walk in the room, teach them to stand if one of the girls leaves the table for any reason. Then carry this on as fun in the secondary environment. Keep instilling. My husband always stands on the outside of me (roadside). I always stood on the outside of my children. My son no 34 always does this to his partner. Also my son was taught to always walk girls home from our house if they came round. We allowed our huge lounge to be a meeting place for them so we knew they were safe and we had great fun. Then my son always walked any girls home. These kids all love Captain Tom and Prince Philip - use this as they were gentlemen from the past. Military service teaches these things that are so important. I live in Devon and I teach deaf awareness too ( as my daughter is deaf)and would love to come on the show by Zoom but I just want to advocate how parents and schools can change these awful people who abuse and hurt others. Be Kind!
