JOKER is a very dark and bold movie which exceptionally depicts the pathetic condition of our society . It shows how this condition turned a simple aspiring stand-up comedian to a psychopathic supervillain who goes on murdering people who bullied him , lied to him , hurted him with their words and disrespected him . He is also suffering from a mental condition which everyone does not understand and disrespected him , laughed at him , mocked him and this compelled him to turn into a supervillain as we know . It takes you through the mind of Arthur Fleck (later came to known as Joker) which is always revolving around negative thoughts and struggles . Joaquin Phoenix truly justified the character with his exceptional acting skills and expressions and maintained the legacy of the Great Heath Ledger .
