By being a person who hasn’t read the book of dear Evan Hansen. I must say the movie was very emotional. I honestly haven't cried this much in a movie theater before. You would think if you haven’t read the book yet it would be confusing to new people but not it wasn’t. It was really easy to follow and to understand through the movie. I think it’s unfair that it’s not getting the love it should have. I think they did a great job making Ben Platt look like a teenage boy. The acting is outstanding and the songs just make it so much better. Even though they missed a song, who cares the storyline was still outstanding. It was just so sad because after watching the movie you think this does happen and kids feel like this. It's an amazing movieto watch and it does really make you open your eyes more.
