I have watched Apocalypto numerous times and every time, I love it. It pulls you in and never lets go. Simply put, it is a masterpiece and one of my favorite movies. The acting, the storytelling, the visuals, its structure, certain scenes that stay with you this movie is so complete. Also, it feels so authentic to the time, whether it is or not; you feel like you are in that time and living with these people. The themes of the movie are deep and work on numerous levels. if you do not mind blood and and violence, it is well worth seeing.
