This movie suffers from the same problems the spoof book in the movie suffers. The film has been taken way too seriously, as 'the modern black experience', by both punters, and reviewers. And again, like the spoof book, the movie has now bought into the serious message' it didn't intend to send. I preferred Blazing Saddles.

Reminded me of Parasite. In good ways

A not so great rehashing of, The Shining. Which might have been improved about 50% if it had ended 20 minutes earlier.

Awful movie, clichéd beyond belief, literally.
