I really liked this, and it was a cute little film. I want to see it again at some point in the future.
I loved the characters and how the main character was very well executed.
Separately, I love how she is not a "typical" protagonist you would see, and it was very refreshing. She was not a stereotype either or a played-out personality that execs like to shuffle through. She was great and it was fun to follow her. I found myself rooting for her. Very happy with that. Also happy that the mc is not the same 5 actors you see in everything.
(spoils below you might not want to know yet before watching, beware)
I know a lot of people are confused why she wanted pizza, but I understood. If I was dying and I wanted something close to my past, I would face fear just to get it. That closeness to her past was everything to her, besides her cat.
I do wish that the film made more connections to the problem at hand in the city (more world building) and also established more interesting connections with other people. But I know the movie is short. They would have to make it longer in that case.
Hopefully they make another one connecting to this one but at the same time I would find it hard to watch without the main character. She was great and I'm certain it would make for an even more interesting storyline if she was there.
