Great story. Not great if interpreting her life... not time period appropriate either. Would have appreciated the storyline better and the writers creativity, IF the mannerisms were more in line with the period. It’s like someone created a show loosely around the renown person, and everything else is REALLY embellished. Next time just create a story like with without someone we have come to respect throughout history.

I’m surprised dog lovers are watching this and saying it is great. These dogs are showing multiple expressions of stress. They keep saying the dogs aren’t, but they are. Look at their mannerisms and educate yourselves in the ways dogs show stress. Even starting from the first shot of the King Charles Cavalier being carried through the buss, showing whites of the eyes, with a piece of confetti on it’s nose, the whole shot the dog is clearly not comfortable (and this is just the beginning). Poor television show. Was excited to watch, no doubt the people love their dogs but this is exploitation.
