I saw Kate Wolf once towards the end of her life at place in Portland, Oregon called the East Avenue Tavern. A tiny bar that was the best place in town to see her and so many artists like her. I fell in love with Kate the first time I heard Close To You. I had lost my only copy of that album but a couple of years ago I cam across a tape I made of Close To You. Glad I found all these sites about Kate and her music. A music festival!! Here's to all the magical moments Kate Kate has given to all of us.
