The only reason I am giving this movie one star is because of two reasons: 1: Raavan’s ten heads are shown in an innovative way, compared to the traditional static heads we have grown accustomed to. 2. Music (for which watching the movie isn’t needed anyways) Everything else summarized below: 1. Crass Language: Unbelievable that Lord Hanuman spoke that way 🤕 2. Vfx is an absolute joke. I cannot believe such movies as this and Pathan are still being made by India in 2023 when we are trying to become a powerhouse in digital technology. This film is more like an animated cartoon than a motion picture. How can they spend crores of rupees on this? Did they hire technicians from bhojpuri industry? 3. Never knew Raavan was actually a batman🦇 4. Director is surely very impressed with GoT, as he should be. No doubt his bat tried to compete with one of Khaleesi’s dragons 🤯 5. Even if the spoken language of the time was Sanskrit and you are making it in another language, atleast use Sanskrit words wherever you are confused. It’s really awkward and annoying to hear Urdu words in between Hindi dialogues. For example, does it make more sense to describe thing as vastu or cheez? Hollywood made ET 40 years back!!

One of the best Hindi horror movies I have seen. Excellent direction, writing and cinematography. The sound effect was amazing all through the movie. Nushrat Bharucha is a gem of an actress who justifies every single role that she plays. But the scariest part of the movie was Mita Vashisht’s acting. Hats off to her. Just wow - gave me goosebumps every single time she was there. These are the kinds of roles that deserve the best acting awards anywhere but since when have the awards been of any significance at all. The message that the movie conveys is not new but heartbreaking every single time you see. There are so many of us to blame for numerous atrocities done against women and yet, women are kind enough to keep bringing men to this earth.

*No spoilers* Loved this show which is one of a kind. Hats off to Brit Marling for being an extraordinary talent who is not only the protagonist but also one of the creators of the show. Binge watched the entire show in 2-3 days and really disappointed to have read that the show was cancelled midway, even though the original plan was for 5 seasons. Would definitely recommend to watch the show to understand the ingenuity.
