Lovely way to spend an evening in Paris with the always magnificent Maggie Smith and Kristin Scott Thomas and Kevin Kline. Good story ending too soon!

If for no other reason to watch the acting of Taylor and Burton is more than worthwhile!

Great film, great story by James Baldwin, sadly not much has changed, and so many innocent people have and still do pay the price of inequality, of being second hand citizens. I read the " novel" when was a very young woman living in Austria and now 60 yrs later living in the States it really has so much more meaning and it hurts so much more.

Hauntingly beautiful, disquieting. Great acting, beautifully filmed.

Thank you Rita Wilson for the adaptation. Although the story reminds me of the original the feeling you brought is more up to date and thanks to your husband and son very moving. And a wonderful casting with Marisol and the cat. Nowadays it is really important to "feel good again" which you managed to convey and I thank you for a lovely evening.
