Johnny Flynn is a marvelous talent. He captures David Bowie in song, look, moves. The problem with this movie is the pace... too slow and we never get to see Ziggy Stardust rise with the music. None of David Bowie's best songs are in the movie... is this due to copyright/permission issues? What a bloody shame. I was hoping this would be another Rocketman or Bohemian Rhapsody; it's not. We never get to heart the songs! However, if you love Bowie and want to see the years before he made it, you'll probably enjoy this film. I'm giving the three stars for Johnny Flynn who is truly brilliant.
