Things that make you go hmmmm..... We have daughter, who has spent her whole youth with a mother that is all about ‘look at me, look at me’! The mother then takes the daughter to a gathering. or as the rest of the world know it - a cult. This gathering was obviously recommended by one of her dopey friends (I’m assuming a bleached blonde male actor that she fancied at the time), as she thinks it would be a good bonding session (I was wondering whether the mother thought her friend said ‘bondage session’). The daughter is then asked for a secret, so she gives a good juicy family one - not hard to work out why. This secret is then used to blackmail the daughter to get her to create more secrets, which to my surprise, she never saw coming. The mother now regrets her ‘look at me, look at me’ attitude, which continued the whole time such daughter was in the cult, sorry gathering. All this happens in a time of google where they only had to type in the name ‘Keith Raniere’ and all their dreams, fantasies and hopes would have been ruined on day one and saved them 10 years of their lives plus thousands and thousands of dollars. I still have one episode to go, don’t say anything as I’m hoping they all live unhappily ever after and I also hope we get to know if the daughter really did make the decision herself, to drop out of college after one year. To think I use to love Pearce Bronsan, and even he couldn’t help out 😥 PS I’m not sexist, ‘thick as fu#k’ does not discriminate!!
