How I love this! I watched it the one year it was on television, and thought it the most beautiful, faithful adaptation one could wish for of my favourite Christmas poem. Every year, I put the DVD on, sit down with a glass of something Christmassy, and watch with just as much pleasure as I did all those years ago. Denholm Elliott is marvellous.
