Great film for anyone who believes money isn't what is important.
While early in the film the main character seems to desire independence and some sort of self expression, he has a long road to meander through the ups and downs of homelessness in America of the 1990s. McCandless learns several lessons about people along the way, which develops his overall perspective and, though the ending is unfortunate, he seems to find some level of peace.
Not a very diverse cast, but I found the film entertaining on several different levels. Filming and production was quality in my opinion, acting was very good despite my not being a fan of a few of the actors.
