Good in cinematic terms, awful in how it continues the star wars canon, simply goes off trail and does not even follow the last movie's plot correctly; we can be sure JJ did not intend the trilogy to go this way. This movie has so many subplots that don't matter. Ryan Johnson is clearly a good director but a very poor writer.
