Gosh! I absolutely LOVE the layout of this journal. It's one of the FEW devotional journals that really makes you think about different areas of spiritual growth and moves through the Scripture, writing your OWN THOUGHTS, APPLICATION and relevant PRAYERS.-- I like most everything about it. BUT . . . THE ONLY THING (and probably the most important) that disturbs me and probably will keep me from buying it again or recommending it is that for most of the passages are from The Passion Translation which is a VERY loosely translated version of the Bible. It is translated by only one translator who takes great liberties, especially in places like the Psalms. It is NOT a true translation: it is a PARAPHRASE and non-accurate is many places. I'm so sorry this is true. - It does use a FEW passages from the NKJ version which IS a reputable translation, translated by a board of theological experts.
