I've lived and worked in NZ for a long time. While the pacing of the film lets it down a bit, the performances are excellent and deeply emotional- and there's a high degree of authenticity, in a lot of the depiction of rural Māori life. It's not perfect, but still a wonderful family film - helps if you know a little about New Zealand. 4/5 from me

Honestly, season 1 was good with a few flaws - season 2 has an equal measure of good and cringe moments, but season 3 is pretty awful and squanders a huge storytelling opportunity. I'm not coming back for season 4.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of my top 3 MCU films. This show totally delivers on its legacy, and even without Steve Rogers' charisma and presence is an enthralling watch. Episode 1gets 4 stars from me, Episode 2 gets a full 5. Can't wait to see what happens next week.
