So many problems with this book and not enough space to list them all. I don't understand the constant drive by the author to list every piece of food the main character eats morning, noon, and night. I also cannot see the importance of telling us the date each and every day as if we were reading a diary; it adds nothing to the story except maybe a few extra pages to force it into a novel - which it most definitely is not. Apparently, there was no editor used as the errors are multiple throughout the book and aggravating to the reader to attempt to ignore them - like the difference between there, their, and they're - that the author is clueless on the correct usage. The storyline is as unbelievable as it can be - very rich man becomes richer after his father dies and because he can't get a slip at the marina in Cape Cod he becomes a madman by changing his name from Ray to Raymond. Best part of the book? Raymond gets away with all his felonies by giving the local police "The Cape Cod Slip". I know I should have skipped reading this one, but the ridiculousness of it all and the food descriptions pulled me in. Not a travelogue of the Cape.
