A movie glorifying stalking , depression, bottling up one's emotions, not moving on with life while slyly mixing in some nostalgic school scenes to throw away the audience from the disturbing message that the movie sends to the millions watching is what 96 is all about. It clearly shows that you can have two famous people on screen, with some really sad music in the background and any storyline to make a superhit.

Unwarranted drama makes up most of the story line. Some issues have been generously distributed among the characters diluting it's significance.
