The movie was ruined with such forced wokeness. The atmosphere was all over the place, and not in any kind of good way. If you’re looking for a sequel to The Craft, this wasn’t it. A cool magic sequence is always ruined with social pandering in this movie. And the overall metaphors are vomit inducing. The bad guy was a warlock, but the true evil was more pointed out as “toxic masculinity.” The bad guy didn’t even do any magic until the end. His worst offenses for most of the movie were simply acts of over the top masculinity. For “The Craft” sequel, this was a complete fail. So much pandering to the woke crowd robbed the plot and overall atmosphere.
