I am very impressed with Faith Hill. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I can’t imagine how a mother would feel deciding to take her children across the wild country of 1883. But Faith makes it real. I have wept watching. The poetry in the journalism of the show is haunting. I find myself day dreaming about the show. I enjoy the strong characters of the females as well as that sultry voice of Sam Elliot.

I was so thrilled to watch this show. It did not disappoint me until the last few minutes when Rebecca Breeds in her almost perfect WV accent mispronounced (as a true West Virginian) “Kanawha” County, WV. I am a native West Virginian. Rimfire Hamrick’s status stands as a mountaineer in Kanawha County. Our bloodline extends from Patrick Hamrick. I am proud of this show but disappointed that the directors did not catch the authentic mispronunciation of Kanawha.
