Yes, it has in common with 99% of science fiction that the science is flawed. Once you accept that, it's a pretty good film. It's good to see an original treatment of the popular end of the world scenario, and one which doesn't involve zombies. The two leads are brilliant. With only two main characters, that's a lot of acting. I recommend it.
