Whenever I think of not watching hindi films because of its cliche stories and typical dance or songs in the middle of a scene, there comes a story which will again make you believe that bollywood can try making films like the regional cinemas. Bulbbul is like that fresh idea and concept which makes you glued to your couch despite the predictable end. It may have flaws & raise the eyebrows but the audience will definitely acknowledge the hard work of this debut director Anvita Dutt Guptan who also wrote this unique story which is inspired by the folk tales. The extraordinary production design, stunning visual effects, costume design and the cinematography are definitely one of the reasons to applaud at the end.
