I'm not just a fan, I want to be a member of this family. They are all so true, loving, and believable. Grandpa Jack is walking wisdom with often stern but sensible, loving advice. Ty and Amy are the greatest modern love story ever written. Even on the few occasions when they are not together it's obvious that their love is real and forever, from the beginning. As obnoxious as Tim can be, he'll suddenly surprise you with a kindness, an action of sincere love. His interactions with Jack are always something else. Lou is a fantastic role model, sister, and career woman. At every turn there is a lesson. This show is perfect for kids, probably 12 + for all the lessons to learn. Tolerance, acceptance, forgiveness. There is divorce, absent parenting, a few villains who lie, or steal, and other real-life circumstances that lead to a lesson, or a way of coping, and often it's about communicating. One really great lesson, that can't be taught in school or really anywhere, is letting go. However, it is taught on Heartland, as horses come and go, as people move on, as feelings are hurt, or as wrongs are not necessarily righted. You see them let go and grow from the experience. Yes, I want to be a member of this family. The show is amazing, the very best thing EVER on television. Thank you to the superb actors, outstanding writers, and all involved, including the horses. Is there any way you can adopt me?
