The film takes you straight to the warm summers of New York City, telling the story of an unconventional, awkward author Melvin, who unwillingly becomes a better man whilst spending time with the lady who serves his breakfast. It is a journey of love, hilarious wit and the progression of relationships Melvin thought he could never have.
