Before watching this movie, difficult for me to watch, I was about 90% convinced that Michael was naively innocent. I now believe with about 95% confidence that Michael is not innocent. I believe these 2 young men. They could have easily exaggerated to make it appear worse. They were credible and they did show a level of emotion that I would expect. That said, I have no idea what was going through Michaelโs mind. Did he understand the gravity of his actions? I think itโs possible he didnโt. I suppose I want to believe that.
