As an African, living in Africa, and as a Muslim myself I give this movie 10/10 plot-wise, and 10/10 for the cinematic art.
you must understand the seriousness of the tribal conflicts in Africa, as it's portrayed here very accurately.
spoiler Alert:
In The scene of the killing of the Fisher Man similar actions in real life often lead to tribal wars in Africa, many many cases of tribal wars happen similarly in my country (Sudan) if stray cattle eat from a farm that belongs to another tribe, it often sparks a war between those two tribes, even to this day.
in this case in the movie war didn't occur because of two factors, the presence of Boko Haram, and most importantly The killer's tribe has immigrated from the place.
let's not forget the main plot and how Boko Haram is shown here which I think is very accurate, we Muslims don't agree with Boko Haram or ISIS or similar organizations, they are just people who want to have power by exploiting the name of Islam, and what they are doing is totally against Islam.
