For a start, the colouring was all wrong. Ralph was dark, and Meggie was reddish blonde. Luke is supposed to be like Ralph.
Richard Chaamberlain was surprisingly good, but I was disappointed by Rachel Ward. Maybe she was directed that way, but Meggie is not dramatic. Like her mother, she just gets on with it.
