(Re-Review) The Sims 4 is a video game that allows players to, essentially, act like a God, with their custom vessel(s) to control, something that not too many games have attempted to do. They are not restricted by a goal, nor do they have to take on a set path. The game allows you to create your world, and do what you will with it. Destroy it, improve it, whatever you want. Your desires are only a left-click away. I'll have to disagree with points made in previous reviews. There's more than plenty to do, and while it is indeed somewhat buggy, it's nothing that will drive you insane. While there could be more to the game (and more is always coming), you shouldn't get bored- at least, not easily. I've been hooked on this game for months, playing for hours on end almost every day. As I said before, even if you put it down, I guarantee that you'll pick it back up at some point. Once you're hooked on this, it's got you. For those who need more excitement in your game, I highly recommend the packs and kits to spice things up, if you've got the extra cash. That should get things going again should your interest start to dwindle. I'd like to provide a reminder, however, that this game is not for you if you don't have a good imagination, extras, or no extras. I can't wait to see what comes in the future for this game. Fun, highly addictive, hilarious, and full of wonders, and much to explore, only time will tell what will come next. (Perhaps more head accessories, if I could suggest? Crowns, headbands, horns, etc? More personality traits? Could someone suggest these for me, if they haven't been put in the forums yet?) Oh, and for those who still may not be convinced of getting this game: Did I mention that there was LGBTQ+ representation? That you can be any sexuality, love and/or marry whoever you'd like, judgment-free? Are you convinced now? I hope so. Trust me, and buy the Sims 4. The $40 will be worth it, I assure you.
