The book was an absolute favourite of mine so I was reluctant to see the film. In my opinion the story is totally honoured,bad are the characters,and the focus on the beauty of the marsh as seen by Kaya is unadultered. Absolutely worth seeing , as a lovely afterthought and illustration of a lovely book.
