A fine movie with the biggest stars of the day. Great and inspiring music. But even Israelis will admit almost none of it is true. There was a boat of refugees called the Exodus, its voyage to deliver Jewish refugees to Palestine was fraught and difficult, but far different from the story the movie presents. And there were Jewish terrorists that fought the British and killed innocent civilians and forced Palestinians from their homes and properties by threats and violence, awarding the best Palestinian homes to Israeli generals and high ranking politicians. All in all a stirring piece of propaganda.
