I can't believe the low critic scores. This movie is immensely heartfelt in so many ways. I found myself emotionally attached to chappie very quickly. The other characters took 3/4 of the movie to develop into humans as opposed to the robot who was a fully embodied individual. The hardships and complex human situations invoked empathy. Chappie learning that love can lie to you, that being different can hurt you, that there are a few people who will love you and accept you. That they're worth everything. It was kind of beautiful. Watch it again. Use your feelings.
