Anya Taylor Joy (Furiosa), who is the namesake of the film and the protagonist, has less than 1/50th of the speaking parts or lines as the male supporting actors. That alone leaves me dismayed and greatly disappointed in this film. Enough with the patriarchy in Hollywood and society as a whole silencing female voices, characters and actresses.

Very gory and cliche. It's like superhero film creators are running out of ideas.

A film that tells poor and struggling people across the planet to give up their one wish in order to return to normal? What kind of privileged writers and director thought viewers would relate to that? Brainwashed ones? Kristen Wiig had a good performance.

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Banks directing, writing, and acting was just what I needed. She has earned her place among Hollywood’s top artists.
